Student Life
Panhellenic Association
Panhellenic Association (PHA) serves as the governing body for our National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) sororities, Delta Zeta, Phi Sigma Sigma, and Sigma Sigma Sigma. Our PHA is comprised of a six-member executive board as well as delegates from each sorority. The purpose of PHA is to facilitate positive relations between our three sororities, as well as the campus and community through the coordination of events that foster sisterhood, personal growth, education, and campus involvement. PHA also works closely with 51福利鈥檚 Interfraternity Council (IFC) to improve the Greek community on campus. All three sororities are housed in Ayres Hall, in which each chapter has a designated wing and private, remodeled chapter rooms.
Through our affiliation with the NPC, we are able to create a campus environment that empowers our women to be the best they can be and to be strong leaders both on campus and in the community. For more information on how to become involved, please contact the Panhellenic Association President or the Program Manager, Fraternity and Sorority Life.

Recruitment
Sorority Life at 51福利
Sorority life offers a vibrant community where students can foster lasting friendships, develop essential personal and professional skills, and contribute to the broader community. Joining a sorority provides numerous benefits, including academic support, leadership opportunities, and a strong network of alumni that can be invaluable throughout your career. Our sorority women are the most involved women on campus, have a GPA above the all-women鈥檚 average, and continue to shine in their campus leadership and presence.
Formal Sorority Recruitment
Formal Sorority Recruitment is a weeklong experience where students can learn about the three NPC sororities, meet active members, and determine if sorority life is a good fit. This process allows you to explore the unique values and cultures of each sorority, helping you find the one that aligns best with your personal goals and interests. Our recruitment is valued-based and authenticity is our top priority. We encourage all students to follow our 鈥渃ome as you are鈥 mindset for recruitment, no need to spend the extra money on clothes or accessories!
All the students registered to participate in Formal Recruitment will receive a recruitment counselor, also called a Pi Chi. The Pi Chis are currently affiliated sorority women at 51福利 who are trained to be an unbiased guide to assist the students in making their sorority membership decision. Our Pi Chis do not disaffiliate from their sorority during recruitment week.
Recruitment Schedule
Formal Sorority Recruitment takes place every fall semester following Labor Day. In addition to the fall recruitment, is continuously open during the spring semester. During this time, there is a special event called 鈥淧anhellenic Spirit Week,鈥 which provides a comprehensive overview of all your options at once. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet members from different sororities and see where you feel most at home, in a less 鈥渇ormal鈥 environment. Not every sorority may participate in spring recruitment, however all sororities do participate in formal recruitment.
