For a fourth consecutive year, 51���� University has been named a College of Distinction for the 2023-2024 academic year, marking its commitment to providing a high-quality undergraduate education that focuses on hands-on learning, strong student-teacher relationships, a vibrant campus life, and successful outcomes.

In 2005, 51���� University celebrated its first Lindy Awards show – an annual spring event that highlights the work of students in the communications department, including Mane Media and KCLC Radio.

51���� University will host its Spring 2023 Commencement ceremonies Friday, May 5, and Saturday, May 6, at Hyland Performance Arena.

During his visit to campus, Elkins recorded four songs, including “Hands To Myself” with Music Business and Entrepreneurship students in Professor Adam Donohue’s music production practicum.

51���� University is proud to announce the Fall 2022 semester Dean’s List. In total, 1,830 students achieved their spot on the list. Undergraduate students must be enrolled full-time and achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or above to qualify.

Isabella Castro received an honor of a lifetime. On January 10 , the 51���� University senior marketing major was one of 50 students across the nation to be named to the 2023 Most Promising Multicultural Students at the American Advertising Federation’s conference in Washington, D.C.

One of 51���� University's values is excellence, which is a reflection not only of students but of the faculty in the University’s classrooms. As faculty strive to expand a student’s knowledge and understanding of a topic, they too, seek opportunities to grow professionally.

The College of Arts and Humanities welcomes several new faculty members across disciplines for the 2022-23 academic year.

Senior Professor of Cinema Arts Ben Scholle recently released his feature documentary, The Worst Crime, through the film distributor, Cinedigm.
